What a terrific review!

"Couldn't be more perfect!"

My husband and I just came back from a 6-night stay at IL BOOM, and we couldn't have asked for a better home for our first trip to Rome! I knew I wanted to stay in Loren room the moment I saw the pictures, and there's where we ended up. Loren room is sunny and spacious, with a private bathroom and windows on two sides; it looks away from Via Dandolo, so there's less street noise. But I believe the other two rooms are lovely as well. The bright, Italian cinema-themed decor of the place is very attractive; but to us, the best feature of IL BOOM is the terrace with its marvelous view of Aventine hill. There we spent some of the sweetest moments of our trip, just soaking in the sun, the views, and the wine. The location is great, too. We explored Trastevere on foot and walked to all the major attractions across the river; in fact, the only times we used public transportation were to get to and from Trastevere station and once, to come back from the opera late at night. It was a challenge to climb Via Dandolo with our luggage, but it was our choice not to take a taxi. Last but not least, Angelo is a fantastic host! He stayed up late to welcome us on the night of our arrival; he helped us with everything we wanted to know, even with an unusual request like finding a sheet music store; and he provided tasty and plentiful breakfasts that sustained us in our sightseeing frenzy. To sum it up, it was a wonderful stay. We'd be happy to return to IL BOOM and to recommend it to everyone. Angelo, grazie mille per tutto!
